What are the corrosion-resistant properties of silicone rubber heaters?
Pustite sporočilo
Control environmental humidity: Humidity has a significant effect on the corrosiveness of silicone rubber heaters. High humidity environments accelerate the corrosion process because moisture can act as a medium for chemical reactions, making it easier for corrosive substances to react with silicone rubber. In humid environments, such as at the seaside or in areas with high humidity during the rainy season, consider using dehumidification equipment to control the environmental humidity within an appropriate range (generally recommended humidity is less than 70%) to reduce the risk of corrosion.
Prevent contact with chemical liquids: Silicone rubber heaters should be kept away from strong corrosive chemical liquids such as strong acids and alkalis, such as sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide solution, etc. If it is unavoidable to use it in an environment with chemical liquids, protective measures need to be taken, such as wrapping the heater with a corrosion-resistant isolation cover. At the same time, ensure that chemical liquids do not splash onto the heater during operation. For example, when using silicone rubber heaters for experiments in the laboratory, the placement and use of chemical reagents must be strictly managed to prevent accidental leakage.
